Does make a big difference, when carrying all this weight and stops the leg digging in your shoulder, and does help to protect them expensive jackets you wear.

Size: The size of the main foam pad is approximately 10” x 6”x 1.5” or 25 x 16 x 4 cm, the tongue pad size is approximately 7” x 6” or 17.5 x 15 cm the foam pad is all one piece.

Weight: 190 Grams approximately.

Material: 1.5 inches firm density foam, Cordura  Material is also lined on the back.

Colours: available True Timber HTC Pattern & True Timber Kanati Camo, EREBIS, or Black, patterns do vary on cut of material. 

Photographs show Lens directly screwed on to Monopod, but you can fix a Quick release plate fixed or tilt like you normally would, this shoulder pad size is suited to the plate fixed or tilts only, Gitzo, Giotto’s, Manfrotto & Benro ETC Quick release plates, fixed or tilt with a max height of 3.5 inches or 8.89 cm approx will all work with this type of Shoulder pad on a monopod, the Pad itself is held on to the monopod, by a Velcro strip. There is also 1 elasticated cord/lock to secure to the foot.

I use a Canon 500 F4 myself and this does really work nicely and sits at a good angle for support. Any questions please ask.
